Louder House Project, essentially means Brian Bayley’s studio project; I’ll write a song then drum up some folks to come to the studio to record with me. I play the roles of writer, drummer, producer & engineer for each song. Each song is usually different in style, performers, singers and sound. Whatever the new song calls for, those are the players I seek out to record it. You’ll hear what I mean.

The term “louder house” comes from my days as a recording engineer, when I was working in the studio til all hours of the morning, just hoping to get home before the sun came up. While in session for hours on end however, nearly every client I would record, always had the same thing to say; “Louder!” “Louder!” “Louder!” “Turn it up “Louder!” Hence I coined my mornings, heading home from the Louder House. When not with clients, I was recording my own songs, and back again in the Louder House to do so. “Louder House Project” translates into “Studio Project.”

The Penny Mae Dixon Band delivers high energy, country music, that gets your attention, and off your feet. We show excellent musicianship, outstanding stage presence, and a commitment to keeping it country but still adding a unique sound.  Based out of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, we’ve exploded onto the scene in the Midwest with our version of the song the Dirt Sleddin’ DiggerTM. 

Tractor pull fans across the country and Europe have shown their support for the tune that has become the sport’s theme song! Recently, we have completed more original songs to follow-up this latest hit and are currently working on an album.   We have experienced tremendous success early on with having the pleasure of performing before national recording artists at local fairs, festivals and regional music festivals including Milwaukee's Summerfest.
