Digger has come to life in Nashville as the result of a phone call and an idea. Both of which I received from my Wisconsin friend, Penny Mae Dixon, wanting to write a song about a tractor pull. Okay, I said, Let’s. Penny knew what a cool song it could turn out to be and sent me some terminology from this self-speaking industry. From there I created the Digger and let her rip down the track.

With the distance between Nashville and Wisconsin, Penny set out to create a rockin’ version, and I with Nashville’s own straight-up, redneck, country version. And that being ‘from’ Nashville’s finest too.

Just check out the supporting cast on the ‘Credits’ page; these players originate from the circles of Toby Keith, Bomshel, Joe Nichols and more. I consider myself lucky and honored for them to play on this song.

And don’t overlook the studio personnel involved too. Mike, Niko, and Richard stepped up to help a brutha out! Again, very lucky and honored for them to ‘play’ on this song too. Just Google them n see what ya come up with - again, Nashville’s finest. (I frikn’ LOVE this town!!!)  Please give them all a shout out, below.
